The Sue Chang If you were among the people fortunate enough to have met Sue Chang, you were more than likely impacted by her enthusiasm for life and positive outlook. Sue Chang, better known as "Mama Chang" to the thousands of students she taught during her thirty-five years with the Duval County School System, was truly one of a kind. Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Sue was often thought of as a local celebrity to the many who knew her. All four of her children, Josh, Jenny, Jana, and Jill graduated from the local high school where Sue taught for eighteen years and Florida State University, where she previously attended college. Sue's kind heart and never-ending generosity will forever live on through her friends and family. Sue possessed an undeniable passion for life, family, and happiness that cancer was never able to take away/destroy. Please read the Florida Times-Union article about Sue here. |
