PatternsOn this page you will find patterns for various garments that I have designed - shawls, hats, scarves, etc. Some will be free (but you're more than welcome to make a donation!), some will be available for purchase for a nominal fee. All proceeds from the sale of my patterns goes directly to ConnieCaps so that we can keep providing cancer patients with stylish, handcrafted hats! More patterns will be added as they are written up, so check back often. |

Simple Ridges Shawlette Pattern - $5.00
Simple Ridges Shawlette was designed to showcase the beautiful Queensland Kathmandu yarn, although any yarn can be used. No gauge is given since any yarn can be used. There's no lace, just simple knitting and purling, and basic increases. Because of its shape, the shawl rests on your shoulders without the need for a shawl pin or button. It's knit top-down with two options for a crocheted edging (US terminology used).

SCARVES Fiddlehead Scarf - $5.00
This scarf was inspired by fiddlehead ferns. It is knit sideways in an elongated triangle, with the fiddleheads CROCHETED as you go. There is an increase and decrease chart available on Google Docs (linked in pdf pattern) if you need it, but I think the instructions are pretty clear, thanks mostly to my wonderful testers nickersr and Lousquared! The Sl-ouch! - FREE!
"Sl-ouch!" is a slouchy hat with a wide, double-thick brim. It's so named because I knit it while I had a sore shoulder. Call it dedication, or call it a glutton for punishment, but I had to see it through. This is the result! I came up with it while working on my 1 Infinite Loop hat. I devised a new way (at least I've never come across it) of working a provisional cast on for the "Sl-ouch!". A photo tutorial is provided in the pattern.
